A disqualification in race 5 has put the pressure on David Gilmour and Joel Turner at the Medemblik regatta, though they and teammates Lachy Gilmour and Ryan Donaldson remain within range of the podium positions after Day 2 racing in The Netherlands.

Gilmour and Turner are placed eighth after scoring 10, (DSQ) and 2 in light but variable winds and Gilmour and Donaldson scored 5, 3 and (9) to settle in ninth with 45 boats still competing.

French team Lucas Rual and Emile Amoros have dominated the opening series of races and hold a six point lead over second placed Yago Lange and Klaus Lange of Argentina.
