49er racing combines high end tactics and strategy with speed and equipment development. It really is the best of both worlds, and the racing and campaigning is incredibly stimulating

High intensity racing. Lead changes, close calls and high speeds

What does it mean to represent Australia at the Games
Representing Australia at the Olympics was a childhood dream ever since I started racing. I am beyond grateful to all the people that have helped make this journey possible

Windy, flat water, shifty. It’s what I grew up sailing in, and opportunities open up on the racecourse making the strategy battle extremely exciting

What's the most interesting part about the Olympic venue
The wind conditions are extremely localised which makes it a very open racetrack
