When the helm and the crew get so co-ordinated that their actions match what the wind is doing. When this happens in the 49erFX, it is the most balanced and elated feeling.

All conditions. Even on the days where the waves and the wind are difficult to manage, you appreciate how testing the sport can be.

What's the most interesting part about the Olympic venue
The surrounding geography affects the wind and wave state in any wind direction. The forecast isn't often accurate because of this, so a lot of the time you go out there to figure it out.

Bronze medal at the 2023 World Sailing Championships.
